Beautiful Chaos

One of my best friends, Lori Porter, is a wonderful Christian singer/songwriter. She has just recently recorded her second CD, "Beautiful Chaos". She trusted me to take the pictures for the album cover and I was so excited to do it! The pictures turned out great and after waiting almost two months, I can now let everyone see them. Lori is having her CD Release Concert on June 7, 2009 at Gracey West Union Baptist Church at 6:00 pm. We would love for you to come and hear Lori and her band perform their new songs! The CD will be available for sale that night as well. The CDs cost $12. She might also have copies of her first CD, "I am Changed" for sale as well. I hope that you can come and support an amazing singer, Christian and friend! You can also visit her website at www.lorip.com.

Danielle & Andy Wedding Sneak Peak

This past Saturday I shot my first wedding with my good friend Taylor Alder. Taylor and I make quite a team and I think we did a great job. Danielle and Andy make a beautiful couple and the love they have for each other is evident from the moment you meet them. Their wedding was outside on Saturday so we were all a little nervous that it would rain, but it didn't and everyone looked gorgeous! I had just gotten a telephoto lens so it took a little getting used to, but the pictures it makes are great. I haven't had to edit much at all. Here is one of my favorite pictures from the day

And here's one for you moms out there...this is Danielle with her little boy Carter who made for a pretty cute little ring bearer

A Rodeo Weekend

This past weekend I went to see two of my girls from church compete in the Kentucky Jr. Rodeo Association's Queen and Princess Contest. The contest judged on beauty, an interview with the contestant, horsemanship, crowd appeal, flag carrying and barrels. Paige and Bethani both did so good. Now we just have to wait two weeks to find out if they won! If they did, they will be the flag carriers at the KY Jr. Rodeos next year. Here are just a few pictures from the day.

Destinee

Destinee came along on the Mayo family shoot and I got some pics of her by herself while we were at it. She is just as cute as her best friend, Ashley and so easy to work with.

Ashley

Ashley is the daughter of a friend of mine from college. She was so much fun and just absolutely adorable.

Mom just had to get in there to fix Ashley's hair...what a good mom!

Ashley and Destinee

Since Ashley's family was having pictures made, Ashley and Destinee decided it would be a good time for some best friend pictures. These two were so much fun to work with. I really didn't have to do anything but push a button on my camera. They took allthe work out of the shoot. I mean, come on, how cute are they?

The Mayo Family

I had a blast taking these pictures on Saturday. I had been at a rodeo for most of the day, but headed to Clarksville to take pictures of John, Lisa and Ashley. Lisa and I went to college together at Austin Peay. She has recently started her own tax and accounting business called One Source Bookkeeping & Tax. If you need an accountant in the Clarksville area, check out her website www.onesourcebk.com. Ok, now that I got that little plug in for her, back to the pictures. The whole family was just so photogenic and pretty much up for anything. I had a blast and probably took way too many pictures because it was hard for me to pick my favorites. Here are just a few...or maybe more than a few.

As I was taking pictures of the girls, Ashley told me to turn around and when I did, this is what I caught...too cute!
