Christmas in the Smokies

Jason and I made a trip this past weekend to the Great Smoky Mountains. We went with some friends of our's, Brett and Taylor Alder. We had such a good time getting to hang out with them. Taylor is doing the photography thing too, which was great, because she got to give me some pointers on my new camera. These are just a few of the pictures that I really like. I'm So Excited!!!!

As most of you know, I've been saving my money to buy a new camera. I've wanted a Canon Rebel for a while now. I had saved up about half when my wonderful husband told me that he had planned to buy it for me this past weekend so that I would have it for our trip to the mountains with Brett and Taylor. He gave me the rest of the money and my friend Raye and I made a trip to Paducah so I could pick out just what I wanted. I haven't gotten to use it very much since I got it because I've been so busy, but I know that I will have pictures from our trip to the Smokies posted as soon as we get home! I have such a wonderful husband!!! He does so much for me just because he knows it will make me happy. I am truly blessed!
